Marcus started his Professional career at Abridge Golf Club in Essex, he enrolled on the PGA national diploma scheme and passed in the quickest time possible achieving a 90 percent pass rate in his final exams.

Having turned Pro Marcus won his first professional tournament winning in a play off in only his fourth event.
Coaching is his real passion and after 7 years at Abridge it was time to team up with arguably the best coaching team in the UK.
After joining Nick Rose and Chris Jenkins at Crowlands Heath Golf Club he decided that the club should be encouraging the grass roots of golf and focused lots of attention on talent development in schools.

Marcus has done lots of golf consultancy and was part of the BBC Jam project which is an online sport tutorial programme for children with no designated sport of particular interest, he wrote the golf content and helped in editing the content and was also present to help direct in the filming process in Chatham Docks Kent.

Marcus has also coached Henrietta Zuel to Ladies European Tour Status, notably some of her achievements have been British Amateur Champion 2007, Junior Solheim Cup winning point scorer and winning team 2007, 3rd Place at the Wales SC4 Open and featured in the Tiger Woods Game 07/08/09.
